Elevate Greater Akron (Elevate) is a collaborative of government, business, and civic leaders working together to capitalize on opportunities in our rapidly changing world.
In 2018, the County of Summit, City of Akron, Greater Akron Chamber and GAR Foundation came together to create a transformative, high-functioning, and collaborative economic development system for Greater Akron. Informed by extensive market research, local interviews, and insights from peer cities, Elevate Greater Akron was born.
Today, Elevate is a collaborative of government, business, and civic leaders working together to bring greater prosperity to the Greater Akron region. The initiative focuses on shared priorities and metrics aligned with our work, striving to drive economic growth, opportunity, and a cultural shift in development.
