GAR Foundation is honored to present Lynn Budnick with the 2018 Glass Half Full award for her steadfast and inspirational leadership of ACCESS, Inc. The annual Glass Half Full award was created to recognize Summit County community leaders for their inspiring and optimistic leadership of nonprofit organizations.

Lynn Budnick is the executive director of ACCESS emergency homeless shelter in Akron. She began her professional career in the non-profit sector – specifically in arts management – with The Cleveland Orchestra. Her 20-year tenure with that organization began in the sales department, but quickly expanded through operations, and finally management. Lynn was General Manager of The Cleveland Orchestra’s summer home, Blossom Music Center, for three years before moving to the social sector to work with women and children.

For over ten years, Lynn has been committed to providing a holistic, safe, and supportive environment for women and children through the shelter’s housing, advocacy, and empowerment programs.

Join us in congratulating and thanking Lynn Budnick for her exceptional leadership and commitment to families in Akron.
