Founded in 1993 and shaped by decades of economic development work, Western Reserve Community Fund grew out of a mission to strengthen Summit County’s economy. Today, it offers New Markets Tax Credit financing and small business & community-based lending. As Akron’s local Community Development Financial Institution, WRCF supports small businesses and nonprofits by expanding access to capital, creating jobs, strengthening services, and building long-term stability in local communities.
